The Pullman is an independent all-day eatery located in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. Created by husband-and-wife team Bill and Kristie Crow, the restaurant was inspired by the elegance, service, and sense of occasion associated with the legendary Pullman luxury dining cars.
The design is a modern interpretation of that experience. Rich navy, warm wood, brass, brick, leather, and tailored details create a space that feels polished, comfortable, and timeless. Authentic Currier & Ives china, featuring vintage modes of transportation, adds another meaningful layer to the story and connects the dining experience to the romance of travel. Rather than recreating a vintage train car, The Pullman offers a subtle nod to an era when travel felt special, dining was unhurried, and genuine hospitality was an essential part of the journey.
That same philosophy shapes the service. The Pullman is designed to feel elevated without being formal or pretentious. Guests are welcomed warmly, cared for attentively, and encouraged to relax and enjoy the experience. The goal is for every visit to feel personal, generous, and thoughtfully executed—from the first greeting to the final cup of coffee.
The menu combines familiar favorites with elevated preparation and carefully chosen ingredients. The kitchen uses organic sourdough, beef tallow in the fryer, and clarified butter or avocado oil for cooking, intentionally avoiding seed oils. Nearly everything is prepared in-house, including sauces, jams, pastries, and specialty dishes.
Guests will find brunch classics such as eggs Benedict, French toast, short rib hash, and shrimp and grits, alongside salads, sandwiches, burgers, and shareable plates. The beverage program is equally important, offering espresso drinks, wine, prosecco, specialty cocktails, and thoughtfully made nonalcoholic options.
More than a restaurant, The Pullman is meant to be an experience—a place where thoughtful food, beautiful surroundings, elevated service, and genuine hospitality come together. Every detail was chosen with intention, creating a destination that feels distinctive, welcoming, and worth returning to.
